FAQs

What makes this oil different?

Ours comes from a single estate, one harvest, superior olives for a high polyphenol content and low acidity. Polyphenols are the plant compounds behind olive oil's flavour and much of its wellbeing reputation; the higher the count, the more good the oil is doing to us on the inside.

How much should I take, and how often?

1–2 tablespoons a day - a small, deliberate daily ritual rather than a big dose taken occasionally.Taken as a shot or purer over your food.

Should I take it on an empty stomach?

Many prefer it first thing, before food or coffee, as it's an easy habit to build. But it isn't a strict rule - with or just after a meal works just as well. Consistency matters more than timing.

Is there a best time of day?

Morning is the easiest habit to anchor - alongside breakfast or your morning coffee. Some prefer it as an evening ritual instead. There's no wrong time, just the one you'll stick to.

We'd steer you toward taking it straight, off the spoon or. poured over a salad or cold meal. Heat can degrade the polyphenols that make this oil worth having. You can cook with extra virgin olive oil but we’d suggest keeping a separate oil for cooking, and treat this one as a daily ritual in its own right.

I'm sceptical, does a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil actually do anything?

Fair question. Olive oil is a highly researched food across the world, and much of that research centres on polyphenol-rich oils like this one, taken daily as part of the diet. Not a miracle cure, but a steady, well-evidenced habit. Think of it as choosing the best version of something already well understood, the same logic as good sleep or good water. The ritual is what makes it stick; the oil is what makes the ritual worth keeping.

Why a pouch and a jar, rather than just a bottle?

Light and oxygen break polyphenols down fast. The oil arrives in a light-blocking aluminium pouch, then gets decanted into your Miron jar - violet glass that filters UV and visible light. Together, they protect it from delivery-to-countertop.

Do I need to keep it in the fridge?

No. Our UV-protective jar does all that work. Just keep it at room temperature, out of direct sunlight.

How long does one jar or pouch last?

At 1–2 tablespoons a day, roughly 3–5 weeks per 500ml.
