Inside+Outside began as a conversation...
Not about building a brand - about an ingredient we couldn't stop researching.
One of us came from skincare. The other, from olive oil.
What started as curiosity turned into something more serious: digging into the research on extra virgin olive oil, and finding a wellness potential that felt hiding in plain sight - the kind of story of a familiar, humble thing turning out to be far more powerful than anyone gave it credit for.
So we looked closer, and one thing kept coming back.
Extra virgin olive oil - early harvest, carefully produced, protected, fresh - is naturally rich in polyphenols. The same compounds the olive makes to protect itself: from pollutants, from pests, from its own oxidation as it matures. What protects the fruit protects us. Inside, and outside.
What we found wasn't a new ingredient. It was a gap: in quality, in consistency, in how honestly people are told what they're consuming and applying.
That gap is how a lot of wellness can feel right now. Louder claims, more steps, more stacking - until "wellbeing" stops feeling like anything close to well-being. We didn't want to add to that. We wanted to take most of it away.
So: one oil, two rituals.
A daily measure, to support the body from within. A topical application, to nourish and restore the skin. The same source. Nothing unnecessary, nothing overstated, and completely natural.
Science catching up on what's been known for generations. The same instinct behind oily fish, fresh lemons, and sunlight. Some of what polyphenols can do, science has already proven. Some of it, and this is where it gets really exciting, we're only just beginning to understand.
